POLITICAL SCIENCE
The article attempts to conduct a critical analysis of existing approaches in Russian humanities to a relatively new socio–cultural phenomenon - hybrid warfare. The essence of the phenomenon considered in the article indicates that the forms of hybrid influence used in modern interstate confrontation have a negative impact on the worldview of citizens. This creates conditions under which the nature of the confrontation between states reaches a qualitatively different level – a hybrid conflict. The warring parties, in their choice of means of influencing the enemy, use new technologies that are primarily focused on the socio-cultural sphere. The analysis of the modern socio-cultural phenomenon of hybrid warfare conducted in the article suggests that the enemy determines the value sphere of a particular social education (people, population, communities), ethno-cultural and ethno-religious preferences of citizens as the most likely objects of influence.
The article examines the main aspects of the historical policy of the Central Asian states, observed recently. After the Western proxy war against Russia entered an active phase on the territory of Ukraine, the Central Asian republics have seen an intensification of social discussions around various topics of historical discourse. The topic of memory policy as an integral part of the country’s ideological policy on the part of the authorities of the states in the region is in a difficult state due to a number of internal and external elements of influence on this area. This text is also an attempt to consider the degree of influence of processes that can be called “memory wars” on the formation in the republics of the Central Asian region of new ideological foundations for the existence of political systems, social well-being and foreign policy positioning of the countries of Central Eurasia.
The article examines the evolution of the institutional framework of the electoral process in Russia since the early 1990s. The main changes in the system of elections of deputies of the State Duma, governors and municipal authorities, as well as in the field of party building, are analyzed. The article concludes that in recent years there has been a tendency in Russia to liberalize electoral legislation and increase the role of political parties in the electoral process.
The article examines the problems of the relationship between political processes and social media, examines the technologies of political communication in the Internet space, as well as various forms of political participation of citizens through Internet technologies. The main approaches to assessing the role of social media in politics are outlined, and the main trends in the development of this sphere in the political space are highlighted. The essence and prospects of crowdsourcing as a form of implementation of electronic democracy are revealed.
Alternative management methods, such as smart power or the potential of digital technologies, are not fully used by the Russian Federation. Many areas of this work, such as, for example, interaction with compatriots living abroad, remain uncovered. The purpose of the study is to analyze the current state of the state’s work with Russian compatriots living abroad through the prism of smart power. Based on the results of the analysis, weak positions in the work of Russian government bodies with compatriots living abroad were identified, and ways to solve the problem using existing digital capabilities were proposed.
The article examines the differences in the education systems of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation that arose during the sovereign development of both states and create obstacles in the formation of the educational space of the Union State. Ways to overcome them are suggested.

The article examines the history of the territory of the Moscow settlement, which was called “Luzhniki”. The article analyzes versions of the name of this area. The author in his article touches on the history of the Novodevichy Convent ensemble. The article examines the process of settling the territory of Luzhniki, how the appearance of Luzhniki has changed over several centuries. The natural features of the Luzhniki territory are analyzed in detail. The article examines the history of the construction of the main sports arena of the Soviet state. The author analyzes the social conditionality of the creation of this unique sports complex, which has become one of the main symbols of the city.
In the article, the author reviews modern research on the history of the development of conservatism in Russia. In particular, the problem of finding a compromise between conservative and liberal approaches in the context of the development of Russian historical science is considered.
The study examines the historical features of Turkey’s existence within the framework of the manifestation of national and international interests in the Central Asian region. The relevance is due to the state’s attention to cooperation with other neighboring territories, within the framework of ensuring cultural, historical, religious, and political unity.
As a result of the study, aspects of the significance of the models of contact between the policies and interests of Turkey and the Central Asian states were reflected. The main guidelines for ensuring the stability of the region and the mutual interest of all countries in confronting the challenges of our time are highlighted. In the article, the author analyzes the historical aspects of the formation of the Russian policy of preserving a single socio-cultural space in neighboring countries, its goals and objectives, as well as the methods and tools used for its implementation.
The article is devoted to the study of the causes of social tension in Northern Ireland in the 60s of the XX century. The author analyzes the social, economic and political causes of disunity and instability in the region. Special attention is paid to the problem of the existence of two ethno-religious communities: Irish Catholics and British Protestants. The economic heterogeneity of society, disproportions in representation in legislative and executive authorities, and the lack of mechanisms for protecting the rights of minorities are considered. These factors, according to the author, contributed to the growth of social tension and radicalization of communities.
