Abstract

Currently, humor is increasingly becoming a tool of politics. The purpose of the study is to define political humor as a technology of persuasive communication. Research method – content analysis. On the example of the Russian comedy show “Comedy Club”, an analysis of media content was carried out, which made it possible to identify various “manipulative points”. According to the results, the most popular topics for jokes are stereotypes about ethnos and peoples, corruption in Russia, the negation of images of famous world leaders, Russia’s unfriendly relations with European countries and the United States, and the role of the President of Russia in the world. The study gives reason to talk about the regional nature of political jokes based on the composition of the audience. The success of a joke with a political matrix directly depends on race, nation or gender. Field performances and political jokes reflect the place where the shooting takes place, and correlate with the current political and news agenda. The political jokes used in the Comedy Club latently integrate into society specific political ideas related to the official position of the current government. The practical significance of the study is the potential for using political humor as a communication tool to form public opinion. The humor used in politics and about politicians optimizes the process of influencing electoral moods, and also appears in the form of a social indicator that reflects the mood of society, which makes it popular in political discourse.

Abstract

Issues related to the reform of local self-government in the Russian Federation have not lost their relevance for about twenty years. One of the most important aspects of the ongoing reforms is the modification of the electoral processes at the municipal level and the introduction of mandatory use of the electoral system of party lists. The constitutionality of the application of the proportional system in municipal elections has always remained very controversial due to the special status of the local level of government, which suggests the relevance of the study.

Abstract

The article deals with the development and transformation of the Eurasian Economic Union, integration of the association with the regional structures of global Eurasia, aimed at a fuller realization of its economic potential, expanding spheres of influence and ensuring security on the Eurasian continent. Particular attention is paid to the search for prospects for restarting and pairing partnerships of the Eurasian Economic Union with other projects in Greater Eurasia. The driver of the restoration of most of the former relations of commonwealth and mutual assistance can be not only the further strengthening of economic relations in the scientific, technical, technological and industrial spheres, but also the accelerated implementation of international social projects aimed at closer cultural and educational cooperation between countries, laying the civilizational foundations of a fruitful partnership in Eurasian space.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of poverty in the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). Relative successes in the fight against poverty were achieved in some countries (Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus) in the early 2000s. In spite of this, after the global financial crises (2008–2009 and 2014–2015), the rate of poverty reduction slowed down. A common problem for EEU members obligates them to take a decisive step. One of these measures is probably the continuation of tax harmonization in the EEU.

Abstract

Russian writer and poetess Karolina Pavlova’s moral position regarding the Russian-Polish relations that developed after the third partition of Poland and the Congress of Vienna is presented in the article. Her fluency in almost all European languages, as well as her romantic relationship with the disgraced Polish poet Adam Mickiewicz, had a certain influence on the poetess’ perception of the world. However, the independence of Pavlova’s views on the political situation of the 30-90s of the XIX century is noted. In the confrontation between Westerners and Slavophiles, Pavlova preferred to stay above the fray, not sharing either the pathological denial of the achievements of the West or the worship of it. She formed her own view on the “Polish question”: understanding the historical drama of Poland. In times of political extremes, the poetess took a balanced Eurasian position, which could have made her, but for a number of circumstances did not, an arbiter in an endless dispute between opposing literary groups.
