POLITICAL SCIENCE
The article discusses the issues of repatriation to the Russian Federation of compatriots living abroad. A brief outline of the history of the issue of legislative proposals for the repatriation of compatriots is given, the features of the draft amendments to the State Program for the Resettlement of Compatriots are disclosed, which involves expanding the possibilities of this program and introduces repatriation as one of the possibilities of returning to Russia for compatriots. Proposals for further improvement of the repatriation process are being discussed.
The article is the second part of the work devoted to the problem of institutional trust of immigrants in Russia. Research hypothesis: immigrants are more likely to distrust Russian political institutions. They were socialized in post-Soviet states with a low level of institutional trust. Immigrating to Russia, they find themselves in an environment with developed institutional skepticism and face xenophobia and discrimination. The first part of the hypothesis is valid only for Armenia and Kyrgyzstan; Kazakhstan and Tajikistan are distinguished by a high level of trust, however, in the conditions of strict personalistic autocracy it is difficult to assess its real level.
As for the trust of immigrants in Russian political institutions, according to the limited sociological research available in Russia, the structure of trust of immigrants is undoubtedly dominated by social institutions and the political institutions with which immigrants communicate are in last place, sharing it with organizations that protect the rights of migrants. This is due not only to the effectless work of these institutions and the low level of institutional trust in Russian society, but also to structural discrimination and migrant phobia.
The article is devoted to the study of the complex geopolitical situation in which the Republic of Belarus finds itself in the context of tense relations between the Russian Federation and NATO. The author highlights a number of key aspects, including the influence of geopolitical factors on the foreign policy and security of Belarus and the dynamics of diplomatic relations with neighboring states.
The article is based on the analysis of current data, including international political and economic relations, diplomatic incidents, as well as sociological research in the field of geopolitics and international relations.
The article is intended to study the degree of civic engagement among the youth of the Moscow region, identify current trends, analyze factors affecting youth participation in public life, as well as determine the potential for social change and development in this region. The author cites the data of a sociological study that allows us to analyze the main problems that hinder the formation of a developed civil society among young people. Given the importance of the role of youth in shaping the future of society, the analysis of civic engagement at the level of the Moscow region is of considerable interest for the theoretical and practical planes of sociology, political science, social sciences, as well as for the development and implementation of regional and national strategies for youth involvement in public life.
In the article, the author examines the methodological foundations of the study of the electoral process in Russia. The author identifies two key approaches of scientific discourse (legal and political) and considers them in a comparative characteristic. The analysis of the concepts presented in the scientific discourse allows the author to conclude that the problem of finding methodological foundations for studying the electoral process is relevant for both political and legal science and becomes key to understanding the transformational changes in the electoral process in Russia at the present stage.

Video games are one of the most popular and affordable types of entertainment. They attract the attention of people of all ages and interests, from children to adults. However, with the development of technology and the emergence of new game genres, video game research is becoming more and more relevant. Video game research is conducted in various fields, including psychology, sociology, economics, media studies, and others. One of the main research topics is the impact of video games on the mental health of players. Many studies show that a long time spent playing games can lead to a decrease in concentration, poor sleep and other problems. However, not all studies confirm the negative impact of video games. Some point out that games can help develop social skills, improve coordination of movements and increase the level of intelligence. Others show that video games can be useful for improving cognitive functions in older people. Video game research can help understand how players interact with games and how they perceive game content. For example, research can examine how players use game mechanics, and which elements of games they like the most. In general, as a new social reality, video games are an important area of scientific research. Researchers are trying to understand how games affect people and how they can be used to solve various socio-economic problems. The purpose of the article is to determine the main directions of research in the field of video games based on the analysis of scientific literature.
In the scientific study, the authors presented some results of the analysis of the existing and prospective cargo base of the Eastern Polygon of the Russian Railways, as the most significant direction in recent years for the promotion of export and import cargo flows. It was revealed that the time of container promotion decreased by about 20% from the level of 2021. It was noted that the transformation of the transport and logistics block of cargo transportation at the Eastern Railway Testing Ground that has begun requires immediate resolution.
The situation is complicated by the low level of throughput and processing capacity of the railway transport infrastructure, as well as limited transshipment capacities at the Far Eastern seaports of the country. According to the collected data, the growth potential of export container traffic at the Eastern Railway Landfill has been compiled for the widest range of goods. Technical solutions aimed at developing the potential of the freight base of the Eastern Polygon of railways, allowing to increase the level of competitiveness of the industry, to stabilize the state of container logistics, are presented.
The article discusses various methods of artificial intelligence and their application in the transport industry. The author analyzes how these methods can be used in the field of road safety, solving the problem of increasing passenger traffic and protecting the environment. The problems and limitations associated with the use of artificial intelligence are discussed. The article provides an overview of current trends, identifies the opportunities and difficulties of implementing AI in transport and suggests ways to solve them.
The article analyzes the concepts of Russian scientists in relation to protectionism. The author comes to the conclusion that the delay in the process of modernization of Russia has provided Russian economists with an opportunity to objectively assess the world experience related to freedom of trade and the state policy of protecting national interests. This, in turn, contributed to the formation of a stable view of protectionism, considered as an integral component of state intervention in the regulation of foreign economic activity in the context of dialectical unity. This approach ultimately determined the unique position of Russian thinkers in global economic thought.
HISTORY
The article discusses a practical solution to an important social problem in the USSR – eliminating the acute housing crisis. The transition to the construction of apartments for family settlement of Soviet citizens in the 1950-1960s is considered. The tasks facing mass housing construction are considered – further improvement of the living conditions of Soviet citizens. Standard design and industrialization of housing construction accelerated a revolution in the direction of activity of Soviet architects – the creation of separate apartments for Soviet families. The social task of creating small-sized individual apartments for Soviet citizens was completed, which testified to the real achievement of the Soviet authorities in social policy.
The article analyzes the evolution of the influence of the Truman doctrine on Turkish-American interaction from the point of view of the formation of a new international world order. The reasons of the consequences and the international situation for Turkey’s accession to NATO in 1952 are analyzed. The author focuses on the relations of the NATO bloc with Turkey and other Western countries, taking into account the rapidly changing international relations. Changes in Turkey’s foreign policy are considered on the example of the Suez Canal in 1956 as part of NATO. The author comes to the conclusion that the reckless foreign policy of the USSR prompted the Turkish Republic to move to the side of the Western allies, thereby radically changing the map of geopolitical events in the Middle East. Since the signing of the treaty with NATO in 1952, Turkey has been a conductor of US political interests and espionage in the Balkans and the Middle East.
