Abstract

The article analyzes modern international relations through the prism of the role of multinationals that they play in China. The specifics of modern international subjectivity are considered, which is not personified by state entities, but represents complex ecosystems (conglomerates), different parts of which perform certain functions of a system that can maintain its influence, and in some cases strengthen it, as a rule, by limiting actions or damage to competitive actors. It is concluded that the PRC is a complex, multifunctional, with formal and informal ties and relations complex, which includes in its structure both state institutions and a business component, mainly represented by transnational corporations whose activities are not national character. In addition, it is noted that the interaction of the Chinese political and economic ecosystem within the framework of regional and global positioning is largely associated with a similar American ecosystem, for which trade and economic cooperation is an existential basis.

However, the genesis and development of civic activity and the forms of its implementation are mediated by cultural traditions formed not only by the experience of the immediately preceding historical period, but also by the foundations of the emerging social community, its institutional features arising from the cultural context and having qualitative and temporal dimensions.
In the article, the author explains the low civic activity in post-Soviet Russia, analyzes the features of the Russian society being formed and its differences from the democratic process in the West.

Abstract

The article discusses the development of housing and construction cooperatives (HBC) in the 1950s and 1960s. The construction of HBC was an integral part of housing construction in the USSR, although it had its own specifics and distinctive features. The decisions of the party and the government on the development of housing and construction cooperation contributed to the fact that cooperatives began to be formed not only from the wealthiest, highly paid strata of the Soviet population. Cooperative houses were not enough, and they could not satisfy the growing need of Soviet citizens for housing. HBC helped to reduce housing queues and attracted funds from Soviet people, helping the state to implement social policy.

Abstract

The Black Sea region is under the close attention of the leading Western countries in the face of the United States and Great Britain, and the main players in military counteraction between themselves are Russia and Turkey. The Bosphorus and Dardanelles Straits have historically been the epicenter of conflicts and bloody military operations for centuries. The Montreux Convention awarded Turkey the legal status of guardian of regional security in the Straits and Black Sea Powers zone. During the Great Patriotic War, the Turkish side neglected the status of the guardian of security in the region and thereby influenced the revision of the Montreux Convention in 1945. The article analyzes the reasons for the revision of the Montreux Convention, and also studies the results taking into account the interests of Western countries with Turkey, Russia (USSR) and the United States. The USSR found itself in a losing position and all the demands that were presented by the Stalinist leadership were eventually annulled by N.S. Khrushchev. The goals and objectives of defending Soviet interests were not realized.
