Abstract

The article analyzes current trends in the development of Russian-Kazakh cooperation in the field of science and education. Cooperation in the field of science has not only acquired strategic importance, but also allows us to maintain and increase the competitive advantages laid down by the Soviet school, as well as to modernize this area. The development of a common educational space in Russia and Kazakhstan ensures social stability in society, high standards of quality of life, and the development of new technologies.
The growing importance of cooperation in the field of science and education is determined by two factors: firstly, Russia and Kazakhstan are the founders of integration processes in the post-Soviet space; secondly, the need to solve common problems collectively in order to achieve a better result. The problem of Russian-Kazakh interstate relations in the cultural and humanitarian sphere remains rather poorly studied in modern political science, which determines the scientific novelty of this study and its high scientific significance.
