THE BELARUSIAN ECONOMY IN THE CONDITIONS OF A SPECIAL MILITARY OPERATION

Abstract
Belarus in 2022 demonstrated a drop in GDP and a deterioration in relative social well-being. The prospects of the Belarusian economy and social sphere are determined, first of all, by the situation in Russia. The special military operation in Ukraine has become an economic shock for the Republic of Belarus. The sharp rise in prices on the consumer market has become a factor of socio-political destabilization.
In the article, the author examines the current situation in the country and forecasts about the development of socio-economic processes in Belarus in the near future.
