Определённых успехов в борьбе с бедностью удалось достичь в некоторых странах (Россия, Казахстан, Белоруссия) в начале 2000-х годов. Однако после мировых финансовых кризисов (2008–2009 и 2014–2015 гг.) темпы сокращения бедности замедлились. Общая угроза требует принятия более решительных мер по борьбе с бедностью. Одной из таких мер является продолжение гармонизации законодательства на уровне налогообложения в ЕАЭС.

The article is devoted to the problem of poverty in the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). Relative successes in the fight against poverty were achieved in some countries (Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus) in the early 2000s. In spite of this, after the global financial crises (2008–2009 and 2014–2015), the rate of poverty reduction slowed down. A common problem for EEU members obligates them to take a decisive step. One of these measures is probably the continuation of tax harmonization in the EEU.
